My (almost) everyday routine.

I am always curious on what product people apply on their face, especially if a person wears eyeshadows. I love them so much that I keep on buying searching for more. If you are curious just like me I am going to tell you what I normally do everyday. It doesn't include eyeshadow tho =P
This can be classified under my everyday products list.
So here they are.

After skincare I would normally apply my Monistat Chafing Relief Powder Gel as a face primer.  Depending whether I will be out the whole day or only for class. If only for class I won't be using this because my make up will pretty much stay within 4 hours.
After the face primer, I would normally wait for 5 minutes for it to dry before applying my Averine foundation.
I love this foundation. This is a sheer foundation so basically no coverage or minimum coverage. I like that :) I don't like full coverage foundation. They normally look too much on me.
Depending on my skin condition, if I have blemishes I will apply my concealer. It is from Shu Uemura. So far the concealer does its job. Nothing much to rave about.

If I don't use my face primer, I will apply my Skin 79 in hot pink directly to my face instead of my Averine foundation. The color doesn't really suits my skin tone so I have to apply this on my neck as well. I hate it when my face and my neck is in 2 different tone but since I purchased it already I might as well use it... Applying is okay the cleansing part is the one I hate the most.. I think I will do a review on this soon. Maybe..

Next is my Mineral Veil from bareMinerals. This is a translucent powder and again this is sheer. It doesn't give you any color or coverage. I use this only to set my foundation to make it last longer.. That's it. I would normally apply this with flat top buffer brush. I really want to try pressed powder especially the one from MAC but I don't know how to use pressed powder :( I have been using loose powder my whole life! :( and they are wonderful =D

Followed with my Urban Decay primer potion in Sin. I don't apply eyeshadow on everyday basis. I am too lazy for that. And I am so thankful that Urban Decay have primer potion in such a wonderful color! This primer is almost similar to Sin in the Naked Palette. The color won't show as much but I feel nice  knowing that I have at least something on my eyelids =P It's just me.
Sometimes if I have extra time to apply eyeshadow I will go for light shimmery brown. Since I own the Naked palette, I've been using Sin =D With a little bit of virgin at the inner corner of my eyes.

Now my eyelashes are in the most suckiest state ever! (read my Eyelash Perming post) They are not in shape. So now I don't wear mascara whenever I go out. No point because even the most awesome mascara in the world won't be able to help. I line my eyes with the 24/7 Glide On in Zero before I put on my falsies

Eyelashes!! They are crucial now!
My super favourite is Demi Wispies from Ardell. Love it so much! They don't look natural on me but I am okay with it. =D Btw, I am using glue from Can Make. Planning to get a new glue in black. White glue that will turn transparent upon drying will still be visible sometimes. I hate it.

To cover the eyelash knots I use MAC fluidline in Blacktrack.

Next is my cheeks and my eyebrow. Even though I did embroidery, the color are not even. So I have to touch up here and there.
Both my blusher and eyebrow pencil are from Shu Uemura. The blusher is okay only but I love the pencil! It's like triangle in shape =D The best part is you can send the pencil to their store for sharpening. Which is good because I might waste product if I do it on my own.
I want to get myself a cream blush. Any suggestion???

Lastly the lips. I normally apply clear gloss from Shu Uemura or if I am in the mood for color I will apply my NYX Lip Gloss. Honestly, this lip gloss look super natural on me. :D That is why I love it :)

I guess thats it. I hope you enjoy taking a peek on what I do to my face before I go out =D If you blog, I would love to see what product you use :) or you can comment below! =D Or if you know any great product I would love to hear about them! Sharing is caring remember?

I went to Bluunis for my eyeliner touch up I hope the color stay this time around. I will blog about it soon.
Updates will be coming in snailly slow in October. Will be busy... Busy doing absolutely nothing.

Eyelash Perming

By now almost every one will know what is eyelash perming. First time did mine was 2 years ago in one of the shop in Times Square. I was fooled because the picture shown to me was absolutely perfect! Perfect eyelash! Gorgeous! Without hesitation I paid RM50 for it.

I guess during that time eyelash perming was not so popular yet? I don't know. But their so call "equipment" is like a total rubbish. I will be mean this time because this thing don't work for me. I don't know if this work for any of you out there but this is my opinion . I hope you find it useful. If not then just let me vent my anger okay??

Let me start with their "equipment". Their "equipment" were toothpicks, some kind of gel that will make your eyelash curl ( it smell exactly like the one used in saloon to perm your hair! I asked the girl but she refused to tell), cling wrap, warm wet cotton.

The toothpick will be placed on your eyelids as the shaper to shape your eyelashes. They apply the gel and roll (?) your eyelashes upwards and wrap it around the toothpick (biggest dumbest mistake!) then they will wrap your eyes with the cling wrap and place the warm wet cotton on top. Just like perming your hair they apply the liquidy thing and apply heat on your head right? Same concept.

I guess if you can visualized the above steps you can pretty much guess how my eyelashes turn out right?
YES! They fucking curl but they curl like hair!!! You know the small curls? Just like that! I don't have pretty eyelashes to begin with. Not thick, medium length and doesn't curl like Bollywood stars. After the perming it was worse! But at that point I wasn't angry. Because it was my first time. I don't know how they supposed to turn out. The beautician assured me they will look natural after 3 days. Yea 3 days my ass. It was like that for almost a month! It was damn embarrassing!

After a month they look natural but my eyelashes was messy! They were everywhere! Seriously!!! They point up, down. left, right! In any direction! You name it! I was furious! After 4 months my eyelashes finally become normal again.

Last July, if you read my blog you should know that I went for embroidery in Bluunis. Read about them HERE I wanted to do eyeliner only. Up and down but end up doing my eyebrow as well. Blog about that soon.
In short, I bought a package. They gave me free Wawa perm. Wawa perm is eyelash perm. I fall for it again! They said it was the latest technology. Seriously, when a girl are shoved with too much promotions they become blind and spend unnecessarily.. Well at least I know I am.

This time around I can't really remember the procedure (I was asleep) but instead using toothpicks they use rubber as a shaper to shape your eyelashes. Not bad because the rubber is thick. It makes your eyelashes curl more nicely (theoretically). I forget how she warm my eyelashes but I was still super annoyed with the end result. Instead of curling nicely my eyelashes are pointing upwards! And they are like sticking to my lids! Annoying much! Sadly after few days my eyelashes start to point in various stupid direction again! Seriously I got very frustrated! It wasn't pretty at all! NOT PRETTY! Now I have to wear falsies every single day instead of using just mascara! And it is kinda hard because some of my eyelashes is pointing up!

Conclusion I will never ever perm my eyelashes anymore!

I have an Indian friend who permed her eyelashes as well and hers turn out nicely! She does have nice eyelashes but after perming it became more pretty. After 2 months they are still pretty! DAMN! Why mine sucks!?! Why?!?!? So I guess it depends on individual. If you are too chicken to try this out I suggest be a chicken don't go for it. Don't waste your money. Use false lashes. Easy!

I did eyelash extension as well previously in other shop. I will blog about that when I have time.

Pressing Your Own Eyeshadow (Empty Magnetic Palette with pans)

I am so happy when I finally pressed all my 20 NYX Chrome Eyeshadow! You can view the swatches here and here

I've purchased 2 empty palettes from Magical Tansu. I like the palettes. They look similar to the one available in MAC only a little bit smaller. The only thing I don't like is the owner service. Not gonna go into that in depth but the owner reply my emails very slow. She reply after 2 days. I don't like that. As a seller you should at least check your inbox every day or at least when you reply late, you have the courtesy to apologize.

Even though I don't really like her service I might still purchase from her because I just love the palettes!
They are really really good quality and I can't find anybody else selling this =( Sad right?

Matte finish on the outside.

Really similar with MAC right? But this palette only can fit 12 eyeshadows. This palette will cost SGD11.90 each. The pan size is the same with MAC, I guess you can purchase this palette instead of MAC's :p MAC palette will cost you RM55 and can fit 15 eyeshadows.

The good thing about this palette is they are fully magnetized so you don't have to buy magnet in order to attach the pans to the palette. The pans are thicker like what Urban Decay use for their eyeshadows :) They are electroplated iron pans. They won't rust and more durable. When you compare this to the aluminium pans the aluminium pans really do suck!
You can remove the pans easily but the magnet are strong. Your pans won't fall out =D
Definitely good buy! If you just want the pans, she is selling them SGD0.50 each.

One bad news, she only ship within Singapore. If you want my help, I will be happy to help but I will charge you a fee :)

Now let me show you what I have done with my NYX Chrome Eyeshadows :)

I had labelled them so I can identify them easier :) I only have 20 NYX eyeshadow in order to fully utilized the palette I pressed 3 of my MAC pigments as well and Elianto eyeshadow+Makeup Shop pigment.

Now I don't have to carry my pigments when I travel!
If you wanna know how I press my pigments read it in my previous post :)

I am planning to buy shoes online but the owner reply my emails so very slow!!!! Grrr!!! I guess I better change my mind! Hmph!

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

I purchased this almost a month ago with my Sephora voucher. In Sephora Singapore they have this promo that runs quarterly, if you buy up to SGD240 in four months (now it is from August to December I think) you will get SGD40 voucher to be used for certain items. They will have a list of brands for you to choose from. The voucher is valid for a month. I was hoping I can buy my Naked Palette with the voucher initially but the palette took its own sweet time to reach Singapore.

So I try to look around in Youtube for any recommended product that might be useful to me. And I found a video from Enkore about setting spray. Honestly, I know nothing about setting spray. I was a noob and I am catching up now =P I hope. I watched the entire videos part 1 and part 2 and I know I must have one! Whenever I club, I dance a lot and I sweat like a pig. My make up would normally leave me in the club all alone after 1 hour of dancing. I get frustrated. I like to travel light and I hate to bring my make up along for touch up!

Initially I wanted to buy fixing spray from Kryolan but Sephora don't have that.. The promoter said I can get it at some art school???? Since I love Urban Decay so much and their primer potion rocks! I try to look around for setting spray from their brand and they have it!!!! I was so excited! So I look for reviews online. Not all the reviews are positive. But I go ahead with my plan. After all I only need to pay SGD8 for it =) Happy much right???

This will ensure your make up won't budge for 16 hours! Weightless, and have techy cooling ingredient that make your skin looking fresh all night. ( I got that from the bottle..hehehe)

The Review
I never own a Fix+ from MAC before but I tried it on. Fix+ have fragrance in it and Urban Decay is odorless to me. I am not too sure if this is suitable for allergic skin because my skin is not allergic to anything.  So do double check if you are planning to purchase this.

Now move on to what I think about this product. I love this. I will probably repurchase if I have money. Expensive ba =(  It is SGD48 in Sephora. There is no expiry date on the bottle but I guess it is best to use it within a year right?

Does it make my make up stay longer?
Yes it did. They stay quite long, as in 8 hours. And if you don't sweat like a pig maybe longer (pigs really sweat??). So I guess this product delivers what it says. As a reference my skin is not really oily. I have combination skin. So for those of you who have combination skin, chances are this will work for you. (If they don't please don't be mad at me) I sprayed this on my friends for their prom. 2 of them use Chafing Relief Powder Gel as their face primer and the other one doesn't. My friend informed me that their make up last all night :)

The product come in a spray bottle. Only one size which is 118ml. I sprayed this 3 times on my face. It does feel wet, but it will dry very quickly and I guess best not to blink your eyes when it is wet or your eye make up will smudge. The first mistake I did was holding the bottle pretty far from my face while spraying. Then I sprayed twice which is obviously not enough (for my big face). I barely feel the mist on my face and obviously my make up doesn't stay.  You should hold it approximately 35cm from your face. Spray 2-4 times depending on individual.

For normal going out shopping make up wear I don't really need this. Face primer is enough :) because I normally don't sweat in shopping malls =P. If you don't sweat a lot and your face primer is doing a good job, save your money and don't get this.

The good thing about proper (like from MUFE) face primer is they prevent your skin from getting congested (not to sure about monistat tho)

Just remember to double cleanse your face when you take off your make up =D That is the most important rule!

If you don't know what are the differences between refresher spray, setting spray and fixing spray watch 2 videos below. They help me quite a bit =D

I will go for my lower liner touch up soon and its free because the color didn't stay like I mentioned previously. Oh damn! This will be painful! =(

UNII Palette And Lip Tar Part 2

Well probably by now some of you are starting to get tired with my Unii Palette and Lip Tar craze =P Sorry for that. I just can't help it. :p I never imagine I would end up buying more than one Unii Palette and buying more than 2 colors of Lip Tar =P So bear with me. The post gonna be short =D

Here is the latest Lip Tar and Unii Palette that I owned :)
You can read my previous Unii Palette and Lip Tar posts for more detailed reviews.

Recently, I just ordered a white Unii Palette and 4 colors of Lip Tar.

The white Unii Palette is gorgeous but I guess it is not my cuppa tea. Too bad Yellow is already sold out :(

My new Lip Tar colors.

Here are the swatches for the Lip Tar

This time I ordered Hush, Petty Beige, Feathered and RX.

If you notice the blue above is kinda liquidy. Well, If you keep them too long without using, the color might separate from the oil. To get the consistent texture just flip the tube from the other way you keep it. This will normally do the trick :)

I don't know if this is just me or everybody out there is having the same problem, but most of the colors doesn't really look good on my lips. I am talking  about normal colors, like hush, petty beige, and momento. Most of them look extremely weird. Like hush, the color will look very pale on me. I hE @ Z
r7U PdhS P $ mixing is a must for Lip Tar! I guess if any of you out there having the same problem I'm hmixing is a must for Lip Tar! I guess if any of you out there having the same problem I'm having, one color is definitely not enough aye? :D

Here are some of the colors after mixing.
I guess purple is easier to achieve. So no point on having purple in my collection right?

Feathered

Hush

Petty Beige

RX

I went to Singapore Casino in Marina Bay Sand and I lose! How can a person enter and win?!?! Urgh! Life is not fair! I need more money to do shopping!!!!!

I postphone my IPL treatment to October. Apparently, one cannot do anything to ones hair prior to the treatment. They said you have to leave your hair 5 days without plucking or shaving. Stupid me I go and pluck them the day before my appointment. I can't stand it! When the teeny weeny hair grow. my armpit will get very very itchy!!! =(
I guess you guys just have to wait til I go back to Singapore:)

Its raining so heavy now! With lightning and thunder!! I'm going to hide under my blanket!!! *shivers*

Naked Palette by Urban Decay

One word! Amazing. I don't know why.. but this stuff is really really amazing! I just love this palette to bits! Like any other Urban Decay eyeshadows in the market they are really pigmented. I barely applying any pressure while swatching but the color payoff is still awesome:)

The palette came with a mini Urban Decay primer potion. 3.7ml. Twin 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Zero and Whiskey. Consist of 10 gorgeous shades of browns, 1 black and 1 dark silverish grey.

My initial intention is to get their 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil. I've watched so many Youtube's make up gurus falling in love with their Urban Decay 24/7. So owning one is a must I guess :D To buy the whole pencil is not really practical because I will normally use my MAC fluidline, So this is the best option =D When I see the colors of the eyeshadow upront, I fall in love almost instantly! They are so amazing! Even better than my Urban Decay Skull Palette.

The palette came in cardboard casing. Making life easier if you want to depot the eyeshadows out from their original palette. The exterior is velvety in dark brown with gold wordings. Really classy looking. I just love everything about this palette. :) Unlike any other Urban Decay palette (ie book of shadows), this palette have very practical design. As you can see there are not much gab between the eyeshadows and the design is quite sleek. If you are late for work, party, dinner etc, you can always grab this and put in your purse :) You can create endless look with this palette. But I'm not gonna go into that this time. I'll save that for another post =D

Tell me how can a person not fall in love with that?! I always think Urban Decay have the best funkiest colors with excellent color payoff and have really gorgeous palette design! :)

What not to love??

Swatches were done without any base.

The first three colors are Virgin, Sin and Naked.
As you can see Naked is really naked on my skin. Barely visible =P While for Sin, the color is the same or very similar to the UDPP I have in Sin (duh...)

Close up on the swatches

Virgin is like light champange. For my skin color, this can be used as a highlight on the browbone.
Sin is a darker shade of Virgin.
Naked is light yellowish brown and matte in color.
Sidecar is a bronzy color.  From the palette itself a bit of glitters can be seen.
Buck is a matte tan brown.
Half Baked is like a golden brown.
Smog is like a darker bronze class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Darkhorse is a dark brown.
Toasted is a pinkish brown. I hope I get that right but that is how I look at it =P
Hustle is a dark reddish brown.
Creep is a glittery black but less glittery compared to Oil slick in my Skull Palette.
Lastly, Gunmetal is a dark silverish grey.

I hope the color description helps a teeny bit.
Now close up picture of the palette.

Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar

Buck, Half Baked, Smog, Darkhorse

Toasted, Hustle, Creep, Gunmetal.

My most favourite color will be Half Baked. I love all the others but Half Baked is the one I really really love! :)

The power stay of this pencil liner is really great. After swatching and letting it set, I tried to rub it off lightly, and with medium pressure but the color just wont budge!! Even with hard pressure the color still stay but of course with a little smudge =D

If you own this palette share with me how you like them =D If you don't, don't you think it is the time you have one? =P

This palette is retailling at Sephora Singapore for SGD73. This palette is a permanent item. If you missed it this time around don't be sad. Wait for it =D

I guess thats it =D Can't wait to share looks you can create with this palette. I just finish pressing another 4 colors of my NYX Chrome eyeshadow :) Will show it to you guys soon =D

Shop and Tell

I went back to my hometown for Raya and to indulge myself with my mum's cooking... Such a bliss :)
I have lots of product to review but I just can't get myself to write a review on them yet. Been busy.
I just got my contouring brush from Elf, I bought it quite cheap I will review it sometime this month I hope.

So now, just enjoy the pictures! =) Nothing much actually. But  I would love to share them with you guys since the things that I bought are really really cheap. In case any of you Mirians happen to stumble on my blog you can go ahead and grab those stuff if you like them =D

Empty jars!!. They are 20g jars and come with lid. Good thick quality jars. I was so happy when I found these! They have more sizes but this is what I need. I bought from a shop in Sunway Pyramid 2 for RM3, Daiso is selling 2 for RM5 and online 1 for RM0.85. All three are 5g jar ONLY! Which is much smaller.
While in my hometown you can get 2 for RM1.50!!! You can buy these in Supersave in Bintang Plaza or Boulevard :) Each packet come with spatula as well! How convenient!
And the 3 tiers jar are for RM1.20 only! Cheap!

Great for organizing your nail polish. I have one too but in leopard prints =D You can see the picture in my previous post.

Prints sticker!! I got these sticker for RM1.50 each for A5 size! In KL I think it cost at least RM3 or RM5 each in pasar malam..

This make up bag is amazing! I love it sooooo soooo much! Sturdy and good quality and I got it for RM9 only!

Let me show you the inside. The cover even have compartments for your brushes! Down side the cover is kinda small, so my brushes can't really fit there. Attached mirror as well :)

Perfect for travelling!

The height is just nice to fit my brushes!!! Love this bag to bits! Plus its leopard print in hot pink!!!! What more could I ask for =P

I got this soft retractable blush brush for RM20. Very soft and dense! :) I got these in Bintang Plaza, a shop beside Parkson entrance, ground floor, new wing.

And I got myself some Ardell lashes. Actually I bought 4 but one is not in the picture. 2 for my friend and 2 for me.

Say thank you to pretty Grace for introducing this booth! The Ardell lashes cost RM30 and above each. But if you buy 2 it is RM25 each :)
You can get them in Boulevard. One of the booth on the second floor.

I bought mini BB cream to try out. I bought these for RM50. I can this cheaper online but then I have to pay for postage. Might as well get it in my hometown right? Btw, I bought the full size BB Cream in Hotpink as well. I'll review that in the future :D

And lastly!!! The highlight! I bought a new shoes!!
I bought this in Bintang Plaza, Mirror. For RM179.

While I'm in Singapore I will be going for Intense Pulse Light (IPL) for my underarm. When I'm done with it I will embarrass myself with my before and after ugly armpit pictures for your benefit. Wait for it. =D Have a wonderful weekend ahead!

A picture of my younger sister eating the new hot and spicy KFC nugget. I love it so very much!
