It's Lip Gloss Fever!

Everyone say hello to the pinky and pretty lip gloss I am going to review soon! It will be from the high-end down to the affordable ones available in our local drugstore. I never did any lip product review before so this post will be the first! =D

Say hello to the pretty ladies below. All dressed up in pink! Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness =D

Etude House, Shu Uemura, Maybelline and Body Shop.

Lets start off with
Maybelline Watershine Collagen Gloss.

Well, as you can see there is nothing great about the packaging. I can't find the shade name on the packaging as well=(

This lip gloss is peachy shimmery color. The color is pretty pigmented. You don't have to apply much to get a good color on you lips. (provided you natural lips color is not too dark.) The wand is okay. Nothing special average in size and reasonably easy to use.

On the packaging it says that -Smoother Lips -Polished Shine- The secret? Nourishing Collagen. Claimed to have collagen algae as one of the ingredients.

I really love the sheen on my lips after wearing this as it adds a little volume to my lips making it look fuller and sexier! Well who doesn't want that? ;p  Very light and most importantly non-sticky! I still can feel like there is a layer of moisture protecting my lips but I don't get uncomfortable feeling.
I guess the collagen really helps. My lips feel very nourished and soft. The peach color enhance the natural color of my lips. The tube is really sleek as well. Yay for travelling. This lip gloss is pretty good. It survived a meal despite being on the non-sticky side ;p The shine mostly gone after a meal but I can still see the peachy color on my lips.
Removing it from your lips is fairly easy as well. Dry tissue will do. After removing I can still feel that my lips are moisturized.

The drawback I would say will be the scent. It has citrus scent to it. Which I don't really like. Well because mostly, citrus scent is for toilet.. =/ It's good that the scent is not strong. Tolerable.

You can get this from Sasa at SGD15.90. I am sure Maybelline is available in Watson, and Guardian as well.

I give this product 4/5  =)

Next will be
Etude House Peach Water Gloss in Peach Milk

This lip gloss probably has the most cutest packaging among the four I'm going to review ;p So princessy!

I love the details on the cap. This shade is Peach Milk. On the packaging it says- Peach Water Gloss coats your lips for a light, moist and smooth sensation.

The wand is kinda fat. My lips is kinda small. So I have to work with it quite a bit. Color is okay. The color almost apply nude on my lips. Its pretty pigmented too because when I swatched it at the back of my palms the pinkish princess color showed up pretty obviously.

Didn't add much poutyness to my lips. The texture is similar to the Maybelline above. This lip gloss is pretty light and not sticky as well. My lips feel very moisturize after applying. The smell is good. Smell very peachy and girly ;p Some people might not like it tho.. Easy to remove as well since it doesn't have glitters or overly sticky.

Despite the cute packaging and all, this lip gloss wear off just by drinking water. Not long lasting and a bit too bulky. It's fatter compared to the other three lip gloss.

You can get this from any Etude House outlet. Retailing at SGD14.90.

This product will get 3.5/5 mainly because I don't fancy it personally.

Move on to the third lip gloss,
Body Shop Love Gloss in Twinkling Pink

The packaging is simple and practical. Me like.
What they say about Love Gloss - A range of lip glosses with a heart shaped applicator for precise and intense application and formulated with natural ingredients.

Nothing much to say about the wand. It's okay.
By looking at the product it seems like the lip gloss is pink with glitters in it. When I swatched it at the back of my palm or apply it on my lips I barely see the pink. Only the sheen from the gloss and the glitters.

I would say that the color is a very very light pink. If you have dark lips it might appear light. What I love the most about this product is the glitters of course! They are so glamorous! Add just a bit of pink to my lips and add tons of shimmer and glittery effect. I would love to wear this out at night! The smell is nice too. Kinda like mango pudding. Aahhhh~~ such a pretty pretty lip gloss! This lasted for pretty reasonable hours considering the textures.

The textures is quite thick and sticky. I guess its okay since the gloss do have glitters in it and not just plain one. Because of the stickiness they tend to clump together as well. =( Harder to smooth out compared to the first two.A big nay for me (might be love for certain people) is the taste of the lip gloss. It is sweet.. I tend to lick my lips every now and then and certainly that doesn't help the gloss to stay longer. When it comes to removing, removing every single glitters on my lips is a bit hard. I need to do it at least twice with make up remover (for lips).

You can get this from any Body Shop outlet for SGD18.90

Overall this product get 4/5. Less sticky and this will be perfect! =D

Lastly,
Shu Uemura Gloss Unlimited PK378S

Even though the packaging is simple I find that this packaging appeal to me the most. It's simple yet unique.

I found myself falling in love with the wand as well. Its tiny. Good for my thin lips. For thicker lips it might be a problem ;p

The color is a bit more on the red side with pink glitters. I fall in love with this as soon I applied it on my lips. Shimmery and glittery but surprisingly less sticky compared to most lip gloss from the same finish. Definitely gives a me a different kind of look since this is the most vibrant color among the four. Smooth on easily on my lips as well. The color lasted pretty long. Without the shine from the gloss my lips actually look like they are naturally red with glitters on ;p

The drawback will obviously the price. Aside from that, the strong scent of rose syrup is making me love the lip gloss a lot lesser.

Its retailing for SGD39. You can get this product from any Shu Uemura counter in departmental store or Shu Uemura outlet.

This product will get 4/5.

Here are the swatches of the lip gloss side by side.

Swatches on a white paper.

The wands comparison.

To sum it all up,
some of the products above are value for money some are definitely a splurge depending on your budget. Putting budget aside I love all the lip gloss featured. If I have to arrange them by super like to just like, the super like one would be Shu Uemura Gloss Unlimited. Followed by Body Shop Love Gloss in Twinkling Pink, Maybelline Watershine Collagen Lip Gloss and Etude House Peach Water Gloss in Peach Milk.

You might want to try out the Maybelline Watershine. I was pretty surprise with the quality =D Going for the more glamorous one go for the Shu Uemura Gloss Unlimited (PK378S)

Tried any of the above? Share with me! or is there any particular brand of lip gloss you couldn't live without??? Tell me! =D
