Camera Accessories
Bought some accessories for my camera today. Something handy and useful for Phuket and Macau trip soon!! Let me share some of the cool stuffs my baby has bought! Really cool!! Tho, I'm a bit noob. I'll learn my way to the amateur stage =p (yea...yea.. not even amateur yet!) =P
Btw, all these gadgets are bought at Marina Square. In Cathay Photo.
Here are some of the cool gadgets for my wet dream!!!
These are called R- Strap from Black Rapid.
The model that we bought was RS-7, which has thinner strap and more grip on your shoulder. Because I'm a girl (derr~) I choose this strap mainly because it is thin. The free Canon strap that came with the camera is just not nice. Too thick and it hurts my neck. While this R-strap makes u feel like you are carrying a sling bag.
This strap is really cool. Even the website (you can google) have a video showing how they do camera stunts with this strap =P. For further pros and cons I think you have to let me at least carry this thing around for quite sometime. Fyi, the damage are S$99 . For me, a shopaholic girl who loves shopping for clothes I consider this expensive. In fact all those photography gadgets are fucking expensive, but my bf say it is okay. Affordable.
The next gadget is Gorillapod from Joby.
Ballhead
I guess this one is quite famous among photographers for the practical use. For a newbie, like me, Gorillapod is actually a tripod but much better. It basically can grip on almost anything. So u can hang your precious SLR even upside down =P. The model that we bought is Gorillapod SLR-Zoom. It can support maximum weight up to 3kg(6.6lbs). Our camera is not that heavy, for now we are only using 18-55mm lens. Maybe for next time =P
The ballhead is detachable from the body. If you ever wonder what is the green thing attached to the ballhead, it is actually Spirit-Level. Click on the name for more info =P Lazy wanna type.
The damage for the Gorrilapod is S$123. (Fly money fly)
The last item we bought was a bag for the SLR. Lowepro brand.
The model is Toploading Zoom 2. Spacious enough for me to keep my SLR, my Lumix cam and few straps =P. Bought another model in KL few days back for such a killer price! Write about the other bag later. Lowepro, is a well known brand for their quality and affordable price =).
Damage for this one is S$37. If anybody want to buy gadgets for their camera I suggest Singapore. I don't know about KL but Canon shop in Sunway Pyramid sell damn expensive!!!
Total damage for the day is S$269 including 3.0'' LCD protector.
Previously in Sunway I bought this Lowepro bag for RM111 after 20% discount!!! Imagine that! Damn expensive leh! And the one I bought in Singapore has better quality! And CHEAPER!!! X(
The model is Cirrus TLZ 15
And bought a Lenspen. Model LP-1 for RM35.
Nothing much to write about the pen. Basically for cleaning your SLR without scratching the lens or LCD.
After my bf bought me a SLR camera only I realize that a photography needs more than just a camera. Darn high maintenance!!! =(

Kuala Selangor Fireflies & Seafood Trip
:: 29 September 2009 ::
Short trip but delayed post. To cut everything short, the duration we took to reach Kuala Selangor from Sunway is approximately 2 hours. Safe driving. We are lucky we are just in time for the fire fly cruise. RM15 per person. for roughly around 30 mins. Nice experience if you never see fireflies before :) If you saw one before just skip it. =P Go straight to the restaurant and stuffed yourself.
I have no idea on how to describe the way to go to the place that we went. But the restaurant is called Restaurant Makanan Laut Bagan. I think this is one of the so many restaurants around. The foods were good.
Especially the Sambal Petai! Total bill for 3 person and dishes (Squid, Crab, Prawns, Petai, Shark soup, Clams and Bamboo clams) for RM180++ !!!! That is CHEAP!!!!
FYI, don't order the shark soup. Waste of money! We actually mistaken the soup for Shark fin soup! =(
Wet Dream Comes True
Back in April 2008 my sweet sweet baby bought me a Panasonic Lumix camera :p I have no idea for what but I assumed to mark the start of our relationship =)
And recently which I again assumed for V day. He got me...
Anyway, I've been having wet dreams about this Canon camera =p . Frankly, speaking I did ask him to buy it for me. But he said it is way too expensive.Seriously!! I'm in love with this baby! Now, I realize my skills in taking pictures sucks! Too many buttons on the cam itself. The funny part, the first time I try to take picture with the camera I even forget to take off the lens cover! =P Hahahaha!
Here are some of the shots taken with my new cam that give me orgasm =p
Trial shots. Really need A LOT of IMPROVEMENT!
Cotton buds =p
Bebe
Horny Duckling. See the dust =p Now u know how clean my room is =p
Johor Bahru Trip
::23 January 2010 - 24 January 2010::
Bored weekend in KL leads to more boring weekend in JB! End up stuck in a conference from 8am to 11pm! Life sucks! Btw, it's a Multi Level Marketing conference. This people is like worshiping the company. URgghhh!
Tried the product mask tho. Not bad. My black head did reduced after using their Glacial Mud Mask. More hydration and firms up =)
Stayed in Blue Wave hotel. Nice suite. Priced around RM270++ . One queen bed, single bed, living room and kitchen, They even have microwave and two TV.
Living room
The queen bed and kitchen
The view from our room.
The pool
Eventho the trip was really boring and annoying for me, luckily on the last day the speech and sharing were done in mandarin. I've got good excuse to bail! =P. So I went to D'Zone shopping mall. The mall sucks! More dead than Summit! But managed to buy some liquor to add to my collection.
Duty free. RM59 for 50cl Chivas. Everything were great until I walked out and I have to pay tax. RM50. So actualy the Chivas is RM109! =(
